Hi guys! I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful beginning to the week! Charlie’s birthday party at the ballpark yesterday was a big success! He and his friends had a BLAST!! 🙂 We lucked out with the most amazing weather for the party, it was perfect baseball game weather. There’s a peek at the party on my insta-story and a cute pic of me and Sammy during the game on my Instagram.
I was a total slacker last week and only ran one time and only went to barre class twice, so this past weekend I got my slacker butt in gear and did both!! I’ve also been thinking and talking lately about trying to go gluten free for a while to see how I feel without any, or very little, gluten in my diet. I would love to hear from any of you who are gluten free…how do you do it?! What things should I know? For some reason I’m feeling a tad stuck on how to start. For the most part I have always been rather good about eating in moderation, and I did a 2 year stint without eating any beef or pork. But other than that I have never restricted myself from any foods or gone on any actual “diets”. So I would love to hear from those of you that are gluten free, to know how you got started with cutting out gluten?
Okay now on to today’s look… I have been wearing this Joie floral blouse on repeat a lot lately. It is soft, feminine and flow-y. And currently on sale! I decided to edge it up just a tad here by pairing it with my BlankNYC suede moto jacket. This jacket is everything! I got it first in brown and then I saw it in grey (last seen in this post) and in this blue and I could not resist the other two colors. For under $200 a pop, it was kind of a no brainer to get it in a few colors. What is the saying? Find something you love that fits you great and get it in every color 😉 Yea, totally and completely guilty of that!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day 🙂
Happy Friday!! This week completely flew by. Do I say that each and every week?! I think I might. Time just seems to fly by so quickly, especially when wrangling three little kiddos. I guess that means I must be having fun 😉 Charlie was off of school on Monday and Tuesday…it was the last two days of his spring break, so Wednesday felt like our Monday which really made the week seem quick. We are gearing up for Charlie’s birthday party at the ballpark this weekend. He is SO excited to celebrate with his buds!! Lucky kid has been having birthday celebrations this entire month.
Our hot humid weather lately has me craving brighter colors. Above and below are some favorites that I have been eyeing and currently have in my shopping carts. I just got this Alice + Olivia yellow tiered top and love the pom pom detail on it. If I was to splurge on an item it would be either these Manolo heels (I have the style in a similar bright color, last seen in this post, that I love) or this YSL purse. I love the coral color of this Ted Baker dress and the blue of this Milly ribbed fit and flare dress. This top would be super chic belted. I’ve also had this Self Portrait dress in my shopping cart for weeks now, but I cannot decide between the white or the cobalt blue. What do you guys think? Which one should I get, the white or the cobalt blue??
I hope you all have a super fantastic weekend! TGIF and happy shopping!

Hi! Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and Passover weekend, and are having a fab week so far! We enjoyed a low key weekend and time celebrating as a family of five. The kids loved dying eggs and then finding them in our front yard after we hid them. Any and all holidays are so much fun with kiddos…you get to see the world through their eyes and experience the magic and joy of traditions all over again.
Today is all about this white lace dress from Alice & Olivia that is perfect for spring. We are going to Arizona in a few weeks, and this dress will definitely be packed for our trip. It will be perfect for the desert nights. I am such a fan of easy yet chic dresses like this one. I am also really loving lace this spring, white lace to be exact. There is just something so pretty, delicate and airy about white lace that makes it a quintessential spring item.
Here I paired the white lace dress with my Stuart Weitzman nudist heels and Fendi bag. Truly an easy grab and go look for any occasion. The dress would look gorg with a pop of color too, whether a bright handbag or bright heels…adding a bright color would really carry this dress into summer time. I am already starting to add brighter colors to my closest (bright pinks and yellows) in anticipation of the hotter summer months to come. Below are some more spring dresses (lace and non-lace) that I am eyeing and loving right now.
Have a super great day today! We are busy with the last and final day of Charlie’s spring break, and are thoroughly enjoying some beautiful spring sunshine after a gloomy and rainy day yesterday. I am also scrambling this week to finalize summer camp plans for both Charlie and Josh. Am I the only one who is last minute for these things?! But serisouly though, who is ready to sign their kiddos up for camps in February?? Now that the weather is feeling like summer is just around the corner, now I am ready to plan for our summer. Hope you all enjoy your day!
Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful week and are enjoying a great start to the new week. After a whirlwind few weeks of family in town, fun, birthdays and work (Jordan traveled a lot and I just completed an event for a long time client), we are happy to be settling back into life as usual (aka the kiddos are back on their routines yay!!). We have also been enjoying some amazing spring weather. I love these photos because you can see everything is in bloom in them.
I’ve been wearing these white Current/Elliott jeans a lot lately and I’ve also been wearing this cute Ella Moss cold shoulder top a lot lately too. They are both perfect for spring, and worn together make a perfect springy outfit. I am huge fan of Ella Moss…have been ever since my showroom days when I would always check out their new collections at the shows in New York. I love their stuff because it is so wearable and comfortable. The minute that I saw this cold shoulder top I had to have it. I love the color for spring and summer and the fabric is light and flow-y.
I paired the white jeans and cold shoulder top with my Louis tote, a classic staple in my wardrobe. A large tote bag is a must have for any mama. And I’m still loving these Marc Fisher wedges…they too are so comfortable and wearable. My favorite thing about this look is that it is comfortable enough to wear on errands and while hauling and chasing kids around, but it is definitely cute enough to wear for a girl’s lunch or for a date night. All in all it is the perfect outfit for spring.
What are some of your favorite outfits for spring?
