Happy Wednesday! I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far! Ours was off to a bit of a meh start. Nothing in particular wrong, just some gloominess and a case of the Monday’s. I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is just a week away!! And that also means that my sweet baby boy’s 1st Birthday is just two weeks away!!! We are celebrating his birthday with friends and family a week earlier than his actual birthday, while my family is in town. And per usual, I still have SO much to do! I’m a little overwhelmed organizing, planning and getting prepared for hosting Thanksgiving and Sam’s birthday party back to back. I’m trying to dig down deep and use the same systems that I have in place for clients’ parties in order to conquer hosting my own two parties lol!

Today I want to share this fabulous Misa dress!! I die it is SO fab!! I love how feminine Misa dresses are. And this one does not disappoint! It is the perfect dress for luncheons, date nights and of course makes for the perfect holiday dress! I love metallics, velvet and reds and black. But sometimes there is just something so gorgeous and unexpected about navy, especially this time of year. And this dress seriously makes me want to go dancing every time I put it on.

Here I paired it with neutral shoes and a neutral clutch for a softer look. I plan on wearing it with metallic pumps for an upcoming holiday party. And it would be the perfect Thanksgiving outfit too! Below are some more fab holiday dresses that I am loving. They all make me want to grab the bubbly and toast with friends!

Hi loves!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I have been on a total cleaning, organizing and purging kick lately. NO, I am not pregnant again lol! But I do think that Sam’s first birthday coming up in a few weeks is a big reason behind the urge to purge. We are entering into the toddler phase and storing and clearing out baby items has also gotten me in the mood, and given me the motivation, to clean closets, cabinets, drawers, etc… too. A few weeks ago I did a major (MAJOR!) closet purge and overhaul in my own closet and it felt SO good!!! I’m hoping to share more on the process, and how I go about doing a complete closet makeover for all of you soon.

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite go-to date night outfits this fall. I literally have been wearing this exact mini skirt and tank every other time Jordan and I get out for a date. I love the ease of a mini skirt and tank for a pulled together date night look. Plus this outfit is so comfortable! The exact skirt that I am wearing is no longer available, but I love this really similar one. I get so much wear out of my T by Alexander Wang basics. They are so comfortable! As soon as fall decides to make it’s way to Dallas, I plan to keep wearing this look with over the knee boots and a jacket.

What are some of your favorite date night outfits?

THE AFFORDABLE AND MEANINGFUL JEWELRY YOU NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Happy Friday friends!! Who else feels like this week completely flew by!? I hope that you had a fabulous Halloween. My kids had a blast trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with friends!! There is a long stretch of street in our neighborhood that goes all out and completely over the top with decorations. The streets are blocked off and it is so much fun!! There is a cute photo of my three little trick-or-treaters over on my Instagram.

Today I am talking about creating an affordable and meaningful jewelry piece with Dune jewelry. If you are not familiar Dune Jewelry is a keepsake jewelry line handcrafted in the USA. Each piece can be selected using either elements from a favorite travel, memory or adventure. Think sand from your favorite beach. Or select from a ‘power stone’, like I did, symbolizing serenity, bliss and positivity.

The best part is each piece is completely customizable. It was fun to “design” my own piece of jewelry. First selecting from the jewelry piece that I wanted; bracelet, necklace, earrings, rings. Next select the metal; gold, rose gold or silver. Lastly, and the most fun, is selecting the element that you want for your item. There are so many options! And they are all so beautiful!

After looking around, I decided on this fabulous bangle style bracelet in silver with the ‘power stone’ jet. Which symbolizes serenity, bliss and positivity. I love both the black (it goes with everything and is timeless) and the meaning behind the stone. And for the most part everything is priced $50-$250!! The pieces are perfect for holiday gifts and/or to wear to your upcoming holiday parties and events.

Which piece or stone is your favorite?

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Wednesday loves! I hope that your week is going great so far. It’s moving fast, which is always a good thing. I missed a few workouts last week and was feeling kind of blah over the weekend. Sam has been waking up in the middle of the night again lately, and I think that it is starting to wear on me. But this week I have been determined to make the most of the nice fall weather and get out for lots of runs and walks, in addition to a few Barre classes and doing week 4 of BBG.

Putting on fab workout clothes in the morning is usually a helpful motivator for me when I’m lacking some motivation. If I have my workout clothes (and Nikes) on I am much more likely to make sure I get my workout in that day. So today I wanted to share this super fun athletic look that I love. Ripped clothing is a huge trend this fall. I particularly love it on athletic and athleisure wear. When I first saw these Alo leggings with rips I was a bit skeptical, and thought that they would only look good on super stylish fitness instructors. But I was wrong… Not only are they super fun and flattering, they are also one of the most comfortable leggings that I own. They come in 8 different colors too. I love that they are different from my typical black leggings that I wear all the time.

Happy TGIF!!! I don’t know about you but this tired mama is so ready for the weekend! Jordan has travelled for biz meetings the past 2 weeks and solo parenting 3 kids can be quite exhausting. I don’t know how all of you single mamas out there do it full time, you are my hero. If you saw my Insta story last week then you probably saw that Sam had croup. We were at the emergency room in the middle of the night one night last week (luckily it was when Jordan was in town!). And he has still been recovering. So tonight some R&R is on the agenda.

As busy as this fall has been I’m so glad that I have this comfy cozy off the shoulder (OTS) shirtdress. Because I have been living in it! It is comfy enough to wear chasing and wrangling kids yet it is chic and on trend enough to wear to meetings, outings, and on date nights. I love the blouson fit…which is so flattering. And the very best part is that it is less than $20!!! Yes, you read that right 🙂 So run, do not walk, to get yours too.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
