Happy Monday! Woohoo a fresh week and a fresh start!! Sometimes the week following the kids’ 4 day weekend from school can feel so long, which last week totally did after the President’s Day 4 day weekend. Any of you other moms feel that way too?
One of my favorite ways to squeeze in “me” time, especially when I’m having a long week or feeling blah, is to work out. For me I feel my best after a run outdoors. I also love a good kick in the butt at a Pure Barre class…the classes are amazing and I love switching it up between their regular classes and the platform classes. Amazing full body workout!! So today I’m sharing some of my favorite new activewear for workouts, and let’s not fool ourselves…for wearing around town on errands and carting the kids around too. My favorite “mommy gear” is Lulu or Zella leggings, a tank layered under a chic open back top or cozy sweatshirt and a pair of Nike sneaks. I have been living in these Nike’s ever since I had baby Sam. Being able to go from a morning Barre class back to my mommy duties without having to switch my clothes or being able to wear workout wear during the day for carpool duties and kids’ activities without having to change for a late day run outdoors is a big convenience.
Just like your beauty routine or the rest of your wardrobe, I think a great time to get new pieces of activewear is when there is a change in season. Above are my favorite activewear items going into spring. Like this Nike sweatshirt, I have the navy one and love it so much (sorry to all of you who see me in it almost every day!) that I just ordered the grey one too. I have and live in these leggings in the black color, but I can’t wait to get the bright green ones to add in for spring time. And how fun are these ripped leggings? Love!
