Happy Friday!! If I’m being honest, I am SO happy to see this week come to an end. Did any of you feel like this was a strange week?! Was there a full moon or something?! Josh has been super congested and it’s not shocking that I came down with it too and got a sore throat at the beginning of the week. The weather was stormy and a cold front came through… we literally went from 90 degrees down to 45 degrees in a matter of days. And I just felt “off” this week. I’m ready to see this one come to an end and to hit reset.
Today’s outfit is one that I’ve been wearing frequently this spring. I first got this Splendid tie front top right after having Sam, because it was loose enough for my post pregnant body and had easy access for breastfeeding. But it quickly become one of my go to tops this spring because it is so comfortable! And easy to wear with just about everything; denim skirts, jeans, white shorts and even my trusty lulu leggings. I wear it tucked in a lot now that I don’t need to be quite so loose fitting. But right after having Sam it was the perfect post baby top. I wore it recently with my favorite jacket of the season, the BlankNYC suede moto (this time in brown). Are you getting sick of seeing this jacket yet?! I hope not!
I paired the top and jacket with a denim skirt (the 80’s gal in me loves the bleached denim skirt) and Marc Fisher espadrilles for an easy daytime spring look. I love the different take on neutrals in this outfit.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! TGIF!!
