Hi loves! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only days away!? We’ve been prepping our house for family to come in town, can’t wait to see everyone! And we’ve been prepping to host turkey day at our house. I recently mentioned that we are switching up our Thanksgiving menu, which everyone is really excited about but it has also meant a bit more prep. Now that the menu is finalized, I’m working on getting our table set. I like to do as much as possible ahead of time. You can see some Thanksgiving tabIe setting ideas, and more on our new menu, here.
I always look forward to spending time with family and indulging in all the good food! In addition to planning my holiday table I get really excited for planning my holiday outfits. So today I’m sharing 5 versatile Thanksgiving outfits.
Dress: Ramy Brook | Boots: Stuart Weitzman (similar here) | Clutch: YSL | Watch: Michele
DRESS + TALL BOOTS
You can never go wrong with a dress and tall boots this time of year. I prefer light weight dresses that are easy to move in. A sweater dress is a great option if you want something with more warmth. I love these Stuart Weitzman slouch boots (and they’re currently 40% off!!) or if you prefer over the knee styles these Stuart Weitzman heels, these Stuart Weitzman flats and this less expensive style are all great options.
Sweater: Veronica Beard | Jeans: 7FAM | Flats: Manolo Blahnik | Tote: YSL (similar here)
JEANS + CHUNKY KNIT + STATEMENT FLATS
For a more casual option that allows you to be more mobile go with jeans, a chunky knit sweater and statement flats. This look is always holiday appropriate, especially if you choose pieces that have some embellishment. I love how effortless this look is.
Coat: BB Dakota | Camisole: Cami NYC | Jeans: 7FAM | Boots: Stuart Weitzman (similar here)
JEANS + SILK CAMI + COZY COAT
Silk and lace camisoles are some of my favorite tops to wear with jeans, either as a layering piece or alone. It adds the perfect flirty, feminine touch to any outfit. Layer under your favorite cozy coat or cardigan.
Top: Alice + Olivia | Jeans: Current Elliott | Pumps: Jimmy Choo | Watch: Michele
JEANS + VELVET TOP + CLASSIC PUMPS
Jeans and classic pumps are always a go to option, and works with either a chunky knit sweater, velvet top or a cami. It’s a dressier option without looking too dressed up. Pumps instantly make any outfit look chic.
Skirt: Something Navy | Sweater: Autumn Cashmere | Booties: Christian Louboutin (similar here) | Clutch: YSL
SKIRT + SWEATER + BOOTIES
Another foolproof outfit is pairing your favorite skirt with a cozy sweater. The combo is both comfortable and chic. This outfit strikes the right balance of seasonally appropriate, especially in rustic fall colors.
For Thanksgiving outfits I like looks that are centered around light cozy layers. No matter what I wear I like to look pulled together and somewhat chic, especially since I’m hosting. We inevitably change into pajamas soon after eating.
What about you, what are your go-to Thanksgiving outfits?
